Use the app to do nothing. Don't be weird about it. That's basically it.
The Agreement
By using this app, you agree to do absolutely nothing. We are not liable for any sudden epiphanies, extreme boredom, or existential crises you may experience while staring at the screen. Use this app to disconnect.
What You Can Do
You may use Rotting to sit quietly, breathe, stare at the sky, and generally do absolutely nothing. You are encouraged to close every other app while using it.
You may share the app with friends who also need to touch grass virtually. Spreading peaceful inactivity is always welcome.
What You Cannot Do
You may not reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute the app or its code without permission. You may not use the app for commercial purposes without a written agreement.
You may not use Rotting while driving, operating heavy machinery, or doing anything that requires your actual attention. We're serious about this one.
Limitation of Liability
Rotting is provided "as is" without any warranty. We are not responsible for any outcomes — spiritual, emotional, or otherwise — resulting from extended periods of doing nothing.
If you accidentally achieve inner peace, that's on you. In a good way.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated terms.
We promise to keep them human-readable. No legalese, no walls of tiny text.
